I sell and design laser cut metal and timber designs, panels, fire pits and more. I love drafting custom designs for all sizes, shapes and purposes - wall signs, business signs, custom gates, property signs, vehicle head boards and bash plates.
All my laser cut designs are sold raw and cut from a standard thickness of 1.6mm in mild steel. For other custom metals or timber designs get in touch with me for a quote.
Caring for Your Custom Metal Sign
If you want to paint your metal design, you'll need to give it a wipe over with some turps, acetone or degreaser. All metal designs may have oil marks from the laser cutter. Just put a bit of the cleaner on a cloth, maybe about the size of your thumb and rub over all the surfaces and then it's ready to spray paint. There's several types of metal spraypaint you can buy from most hardware and auto shops. There's gloss paint (shiny); matt paint (not shiny); paint that looks rusty but seals the metal so it doesn't corrode; and also some textured paints.
If you want to let your custom metal sign rust naturally you can hang it and let the air do it's thing or you can google different ways to activate the rusting process.
Another option is powder coating for more tougher covering, however it does delay delivery by 4-6 weeks.
Packaging & Handling
Where possible your design will be packaged with recycled cardboard, leaving a lighter footprint on our environment.
A handling, packaging and transport fee is included in the cost of all our designs.
Postage / freight is arranged through Australia Post or Aramex Capricorn Coast. Aramex support local courier businesses in areas they don't travel to themselves.
